Namaskara.

My childhood….

        My name is  kattigenahalli  srinivasa rao  venkatesha murthy.

               I am an Arian

     born on 04-04-1965 at kodihalli near old airport, bangalore.

      brought  up  in anekal , 36 km away from Bangalore.

I am the only son with two elder and two younger sisters.

studied  at  anekal  town from  second  standard  to  second  PUC .

      In 1974 unexpectedly I joined bharath scouts and guides.

      In 1980 I received president’s scout award from president of India,  Neelam sanjeeva reddy. I enjoyed the scouting very much (like eat cricket, drink cricket, sleep cricket.) scouting played a major role in my life I learnt so many things including cooking, 

     I was  interested  to join in Indian army I could not succeed. very much interested to join diploma in  cinematography but the marks obtained was not sufficient. then finally  I did diploma in electrical engineering now I am doing electrical contract works.

    I was poor  in  studies,  since  from  primary  school  days  in  weekends  I use  to  go  to  nearby  ponds  to see the activities fish, crabs and other water creatures, some time  simply  to  follow  film  shooting  team , sometimes near  Indian  army  camp  who came for practical  training at out skirts of the town. sometimes to follow the fishermen. sometimes  bird hunters not to see the hunting technique. to simply see the hunted birds, that moment was heart breaking. I was the silent witness.  sometimes simply sat near the lake and observing the waves and bird activities. but I was not interested in sports. I don’t like to play any type of games either indoor or outdoor.

I was always being in my own world. my friends circle was also small. very few in numbers.

my hobby, My interest…..

        photography,  other  interests  are  roaming  in forests,  mountains, hilly region, valley, river side, ponds. You know what a great joy.

     And I love to travel every corner of my mother India and to observe common life, and to enjoy their   traditional food.

    My Other interests are listening of carnatic and Hindustani music, gazals, old kannada and hindi songs. In carnatic music I learnt up to “alankaaragalu”, a few lessons. but couldn’t able to continue. I am a good singer too, my family members and Known people appreciated and said this.

My writers…..

 M.K.INDIRA   her novels are so much  impressed  me  to love western ghats, and their Environment, Monsoon rains , and their  Traditional food.

 Shivaramakaranth, Kuvempu, Poornachandra Tejasvi, Eeshvaraiah are my favorite writers.

My art…..

I know little bit art I used to draw, to paint in school days, my mom supported me very much. I earned few rupees by writing sign boards in those days. I can carve on dry coconut very beautifully, I am a good cook too,

My love, care, rescue , favorite, desire …..

I love and care wounded and orphan street dogs.

And very much interested to involve in conservation awareness programs.

I believe and argue that plants, trees, insects, birds and animals got rights to live on this earth hundred times more than human beings.

    

From  ants to elephant,  saplings to huge  trees  I love  all the creation of god on this earth. this is a special gift from my mom, she only trained me to love and live like this.  

One of my favorite works is silent communication with plants, trees, insects, birds and animals.  I can talk with them. I achieved it, This is my strength.

           Just  Laying  on  the  huge  rock  facing  towards  the  sky  in  the  forest,  being  with  nature  and  listening to  the  nature  and  insects  sounds  and  simply  watching  the stars is another one.

       Being  with  new  born  babies  of  all  domestic and wild animals including  piglets,  and  to  hug  and to kiss them, makes my memorable days.

    my  life  time  desire  is  to  bring home an new born orphan  elephant  baby  at least for one month, and spend a valuable time with him.

My happiness…..

     small small things in the life gives me lot of happiness, like that Hundreds are there.  I can spend hours together near ant’s colony to see how ants bring out mud from the nest and watch how ants carry the food to its nest. to see spider weaving web. to see Pot wasp building the nest. And counting the bird flocks. Another funny thing for me is make paper boats and make them to float on the flowing rain water after the rain stops. I will be so much happy to Being like a child with Children.

My nature…..

I am a humorist by nature. either with friends or in  family wherever I will and  whatever the circumstance  I will Make them laugh and spread happiness.

My feelings…..

I am a man of deep emotions. an imaginative person While I am happy enough in the present, I have a kind of longing for the childhood days. those years fascinate me. some place, some  food, some music, some songs, some flowers, some trees, few birds,... etc. will brought back me to the past time and trigger such strange but nice feelings. when that time I simply close my eyes and enjoy the memories. 

My role models

My father  srinivasa rao  and

my mother  padmavathamma who are the role models for me.

My mom teaches me how to love and care this earth.

My dad teaches me how should we live, the values and ethics of life

and my wife  lakshmi  what  shall I say about her, I will conclude like this

husband is the child of the wife....
